A BIT ABOUT DAVE
Married with twin girls, Dave was born and grew up in Fareham. Currently living in Purbrook, with his wife Sue, daughters Hannah and Megan, one dog (Lily) and four cats, not forgetting the guinea pig and fish. Dave has been an instructor since January 2006. He took a little break between November 2017 and June 2018 to become an examiner at Portsmouth Test Centre. This has given him a unique insight into what the examiners are looking for when you go for your test.
Dave strongly believes that you should be taught how to drive, not just how to pass your test. So you may cover a few things not included on your test, for example, filling up at petrol stations, using a drive thru, multi story car park etc. The driving test changed on the 4th December 2017, one of the manouveres no longer tested is the turn in road (three point turn). Despite it not being in the test, Dave will still teach you how to do it as it is a very valuable skill to have should you take a wrong turn. |
